This is the privacy policy of the RTÉ Retired Staff Association (Defined Benefit) RTÉRSA(DB)
This privacy policy explains how we will handle your personal data. The personal information that we collect may include the following
Name
Address
Phone number
Email address
RTÉ Staff/Pension Number
Your membership subscription Your contribution to the legal fund
This information allows us to contact you regarding meetings and events organised by the Association and to keep a record of your subscription and donations.
We do not share your personal information with the following exceptions
RTÉ as the agent to collect subscriptions on our behalf A Mailing service to send out information on our behalf
All information is held securely by the Secretary and Membership Secretary.
We are currently in the process of having a web site built. We will work with the web site provider to ensure it adheres to GDPR regulations regarding any personal information we may obtain from you through the site.
We will hold your information while you are a member of the RTÉRSA(DB) and for up to one year after your membership ceases.
Your rights regarding your personal data
Under the Data Protection legislation you have the right at any time to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data .
You are not obliged to share your personal data with the RTÉRSA(DB).
If you choose not to share your personal data with us we may not be able to register or administer your membership.
