We decided to emulate all the family quiz groups and had our first Zoom committee meeting.
It was very successful – if anything, better than our traditional meetings. No more need to book a location in RTE and to find parking. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of visiting the Studio complex in Donnybrook recently – don’t! And you will need a passcard to get in, get out or go to the loo.
I haven’t got the minutes yet but one suggestion we wanted to pass on was to publicise the excellent Hospice Foundation website and the document Think Ahead. Clicking on the name should open their link.
Your Committee will be making a substantial donation to the Hospice on your behalf.
May I thank the substantial number of people who have sent their details to us. We now have well over 400 email addresses but this is still only about 29% of our members. We have 90% of your postal addresses. So there is still a lot to be done.
Finally our very best wishes to everyone after what has been an interesting, difficult, different and sometimes quite surprising period for all of us. Best wishes.
