Memories of Peter
As many of you may know, we lost Peter McEvoy, friend and colleague, unexpectedly last October. In many ways it is hard to realise that he is gone, as memories of his laconic wit, his unparalleled ability to spin a yarn and his compelling and encyclopedic knowledge of movies and movie-making remain so vivid in our recall.
He was an active and enthusiastic long-standing committee member of The Royal Television Society Ireland Centre. Peter took an idiosyncratic angle on the world and its doings, particularly where the media were concerned, and we want to celebrate the Peter we knew, with a night of story and anecdote in AR4, RTÉ, on Tuesday April 4th, at 8.00pm. All are welcome.
